First medical degree for international students in the UK!


The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) launched an undergraduate medical degree programme – the first in the UK designed specifically for international students!

UCLan Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) is a 5 year programme with an expertise in healthcare, pharmacy and medical science education.

What are the entry requirements?

Several conditions are necessary to enter in the UCLan Bachelors:

  • A-level entry or international equivalent (minimum grades AAB)
  • A minimum score of 2500 for the UK Clinical Aptitude Test
  • A minimum of four GCSE subjects or international at grade A
  • A score of  7.0 at the IELTS (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of grade B in Mathematics, English language, biology, chemistry and physics
