Postgraduate funding at Lincoln

You can apply for a loan of up to £10,000 as a contribution towards your course and living costs. This will be paid into your bank account in three instalments during the academic year, if you are studying on a one year full-time course. You will be eligible for this if:

  • you’re a UK or EU national, or have ‘settled status’, so there are no restrictions on how long you can stay
  • you normally live in England, and didn’t move there just to study
  • you’ve been living in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man for 3 years before starting your course

Postgraduate Scholarships at Lincoln

The University understand the importance of investing in your future and offer a number of scholarships to help eligible students study. Scholarships are currently available for University of Lincoln alumni, international students and those with good honours degrees.

Lincoln Campus

The University of Lincoln provides students with access to specialist science laboratories, innovative performance spaces and industry-standard media suites. There are dedicated studio, workshop and learning spaces, and a purpose-built engineering hub, as well as sports, leisure and library facilities.

The University is situated next to the picturesque Brayford Pool marina, just a few minutes’ walk away from the thriving city centre which offers a wealth of shops, restaurants and accommodation.

The City of Lincoln

Lincoln Cathedral overlooks the city and is one of the finest medieval buildings in Europe. Lincoln Castle is home to an original copy of Magna Carta, dating back to 1215, as well as the Charter of the Forest. Having recently undergone a £22 million restoration project, it is the only place in the world where you can see the two documents side-by-side.
