The University of Derby is located in the city of Derby. Derby university has two campuses located in the city of Derby and in the picturesque town of Buxton both located in the centre of England.
Services for International Students
There are personal and academic counsellors at the University of Derby, and a dedicated International Student Centre is here to help , they have expert advisors to deal with any issues students experience. There are nurses and health centres on campus, and the Student Employment Agency can help find part time work. There is also a Multi Faith Centre at the Kedleston Road site, and the Chaplaincy has advisers from all the major religions. There is also a Student support group in the University to help stduents intergration into the U.K.
Accommodation
The University of Derby has two campuses that are 30 miles apart - Derby and Buxton - and there's great value accommodation for each campus.
University owned and run accommodation is called halls of residence. Most first year students live in halls because they're just a short walk away from our campuses and they're a great way to make friends. They also offer you safe and good value accommodation with other students like you.
Health services
Derby University has a qualified Student Health team who are experienced in supporting students with a wide range of problems or issues. Student confidentiality will be respected at all times.
