April 2003

Predecessor company of SI-UK was established in Shinjuku Tokyo and successfully placed thousands of students from Japan into UK universities and colleges.

October 2006

SI-UK International Co., Ltd. founded in Tokyo, Japan. Head office opened in Shinjuku ward. SI-UK sets out a strategy for global expansion of services.

October 2006

SI-UK Tokyo Language Centre opened offering wide range of test preparation classes including IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT, LSAT and other university preparation classes.

October 2007

SI-UK Osaka office opened in largest commercial center of western Japan.

November 2007

SI-UK Tokyo office relocated to current location due to business expansion.

December 2007

SI-UK Osaka Language Centre opened offering full range of university preparation lessons including IELTS.

April 2008

First Tokyo and Osaka education fair is held. The SI-UK fair sets a new standard as the first large scale university exhibition in Japan which is free of charge for both students and universities.

August 2008

SI-UK London office opened in Russell Square next to University of London Campus. SI-UK is the first London based agency to recruit international students of all nationalities from the UK.

October 2008

Second Tokyo and Osaka education fair.

December 2008

SI-UK London creates the first multi lingual website for the benefit of international students seeking information on studying in the UK. Languages include English, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, and Spanish.

Febuary 2009

SI-UK Global creates the very first online university course search function open to the public, with over 30,000 university and college courses linking directly to the university/college course pages on the official university/college sites.

April 2009

Third Tokyo and Osaka education fair.

June 2009

SI-UK London opens IELTS training centre to assist international students in the UK gain the required English level to enter university.

October 2009

Fourth Tokyo and Osaka education fair.

December 2009

SI-UK London relocated to the prestigious Regent Street office, the commercial and entertainment center of London.

April 2010

Due to business expansion, SI-UK Tokyo opens second office.

April 2010

Fifth Tokyo and Osaka education fair (the largest UK education fair in Japan).

May 2010

First London education fair with over 80 UK universities attending, making it the largest UK education fair worldwide.

June 2010

SI-UK global creates the first online library for students. The online library contains over a thousand samples of student university application documents including study plans, resumes, reference letters, UCAS applications forms, university application forms and much more.
