UK University Education Fair - FAQs

What is the SI-UK University Education Fair London?

At the fair, you can talk directly with representatives, professors, and admission officers from most of the popular UK universities. As well there will be between 10-12 SI- UK education councilors available to answer specific questions about the application procedure, admissions, IELTS and TOEFL iBT, interviews, accommodations, visa procedures and any other information that you require in the following languages:

English, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, Korean and Spanish

Are there only London based universities at this event?

No, this event will attract universities from all over the UK, this event should be of great value to students interested in studying in any part of the UK. UK universities will be coming from:

London
South England
Wales
The midlands
North England
Scotland

Do I have to prepare for the Fair and is there anything I need to bring?

You don't have to make any particular preparations; however we would recommend that you bring details of your education (transcripts) and or professional history (CV) and your IELTS or TOEFL score (if you have one), this will help the UK representatives to give you more accurate advice. If you are interested in art and design courses it would also be helpful for you to bring a portfolio of your work.

Is there an entrance fee?

No, the SI-UK University Education fair is free.

How can I find out what courses are offered by the participating universities?

All visitors will be given a layout of the location of the universities and a list of courses offered by each institution. You can also check their courses beforehand using the programme search function on the top left hand side of the front page of this website.

What is the schedule? Do I have to arrive at 12:00?

You can come and go whenever it suits you, you can enter or exit the exhibition anytime between 12:00-17:00.

Can I get prospectuses and application forms at the Fair?

Each institution will bring a supply of prospectuses, application forms and other materials to the exhibition, which are also free.

I don't know very much about studying at a UK university, is this OK?

You do not need to have any background information about studying at a UK university. As long as you know the course or subject you would like to study SI-UK advisors will explain which universities offer this.
