Overview

Kaplan International Colleges teach academic preparation programmes especially designed for international students, in partnership with a select group of top UK universities.

Each college is based on the campus of a partner university, except for our London Campus which has its own Campus located close to City University, London.  Our London students progress into either City University or the University of Southampton. All students are guaranteed admission at the partner university upon successful completion of their study programme.

Kaplan International Colleges English school in Bournemouth

Kaplan International Colleges' English school in Bournemouth offers superior learning and social facilities. Students can be assured to learn english in a friendly vibrant atmosphere and can find courses in English language and University preperation. Glasgow International College (GIC)

Glasgow International College is a joint education partnership between Kaplan and the University of Glasgow (GU). When the College opened in 2007, it was the first partnership of its kind anywhere in Scotland.

GIC can add a foundation English course to your offer automatically if your English language skills are not strong enough to go straight into an academic course at the College. It offers foundation English level tuition from an approximate equivalent of IELTS level 3.0 upwards.

The Pre-Sessional English course provides 20 hours per week of interactive classroom based foundation English tuituon and a further 20 hours per week of guided self study. Assignments include English language project work in the local community and on-line activities, as well as foundation English preparation for classes.

You will also be assigned a personal learning support Tutor who you will meet at regular intervals to discuss your progress and so that you can receive help with areas that you may find difficult. During your foundation English Pre-Sessional studies, you will also receive enchanced support from the Student Services team to ensure you gain maximum benefit from your foundatuon English studies.

Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC)

Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC) was launched in 2005. In 2007, the first NTIC students graduated from Nottingham Trent University (NTU), three of them with a Commendation.

The College is a joint educational partnership between Kaplan International Colleges and Nottingham Trent University.
