With over 24,500 students, LSBU is one of the largest universities in London. Our students are drawn here from across the globe, throughout the UK and from just around the corner.

Our main campus is situated a short walk from many of London's major landmarks and we're at the hub of local transport. Waterloo and London Bridge are some of our nearest stations and the London Underground is on our doorstep.

We've invested £47 million on our campus, set in the heart of London, to allow us to continue to provide the best student facilities. The first stage of improvements was completed last year and our new building, K2, now houses our Faculty of Health and Social Care and Department of Education. The building provides general teaching rooms, conference spaces and a cafeteria plus health skills laboratories and staff offices.

K2 was built with sustainability very much in mind and houses the Centre for Efficient and Renewable Energy in Buildings (CEREB). This cross-university project, launching this Spring, provides a focus and location for research, teaching and demonstration of environmentally sustainable energy systems in buildings.

The institution has a vision of being a leading UK University for professional education, giving our students the chance to 'become what you want to be'.

The university continues to serve its original purpose of educating in a very practical way. It takes the future employability of its students very seriously and works with employers and industry experts to ensure course content is highly relevant.
