There are multiple scholarships available at University of Brighton for International Students.
There are 40 places for students to receive the Vice Chancellors International Scholarship. Students will receive a discount in fees to the value of £4,000 for the duration of the course. Any international student on a full time or undergraduate or postgraduate (taught) course may apply.
International students taking a full time research course are eligible to apply for the University of Brighton International Research Scholarship Scheme. 4 such scholarships are offered per year. The award equates to a 50% reduction in the tuition fees for each year of study for a maximum of 3 years. This is not a cash award.

University of York
There are a number of scholarships available to international students holding offers to study at the University of York.
The Scholarship for Overseas Students is available to all international students embarking on any area of full-time study. The deadline for application is April 30, 2012 and students must already hold an offer from the university. This is a competitive award, based on academic merit and financial need. The scholarship may cover 1/3 or 1/6 of overseas tuition fees for each year of study.
Scholarships are also available for students looking to study a PhD at York. The scholarship will cover the overseas tuition fee, and a £5000 stipend per year, for each year of study. The deadline for application is April 30, 2012 and applicants must hold a valid offer from the university.
