SI-UK IELTS student passes exam with 7.5 score
18 July 2018
Yoko Takizawa of Japan became the latest SI-UK Language Centre student to pass the IELTS exam with flying colours. We caught up with her to learn more about how she found the learning experience.
Q. What part of the exam did you find most difficult and why?
I personally found the writing part of the exam harder, it required much more time to improve than reading, listening and speaking.
Q. Would you recommend SI-UK?
Absolutely! It was a five-star experience.
Q. What advice would you give to other students who want to take IELTS?
It might be better to start the IELTS writing part as soon as possible, since it is difficult to increase your writing score. Write as much as possible and ask some native speakers to correct your writing work.
Q. What was the best thing about your IELTS course at SI-UK?
The best thing was the course is efficient to improve your band score. It also helped me to improve my vocabulary.
Q. If anything, what would you change about the course?
Looking back, I would focus more on writing, earlier.
