York announce 2018/19 scholarships for international students

The University of York have announced a number of new scholarships available for international students in the 2018/19 academic year.
The University will be awarding almost 100 scholarships, which recognise academic excellence by offering a tuition fee discount, to high achieving students. The Academic Excellence scholarships are split into two categories:
- Academic Excellence scholarships offering a £5,000 tuition fee discount for the first year of study, for high ability students of any non-EU country
- Country-specific Academic Excellence scholarships offering a tuition fee discount of up to £5,000 for the first year of study, for high ability students domiciled or a national of a specific country
There are also five Vice-Chancellor's scholarships offering a tuition fee discount of £5,000 for each year of study (up to three years), for exceptionally high achieving students from any non-EU country.
