Aston’s Regional Excellence Scholarship Award scheme offers well-qualified International applicants a scholarship award of between £3,000 and £5,000 towards the cost of tuition for the first year of study at Aston. Scholarships are available to students from the following regions and countries:

  • Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya)
  • South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh)
  • Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia)
  • Middle East (Egypt, Iran, Jordan, UAE) 
  • China

Scholarship Application Criteria

Regional Excellence Scholarships will be awarded on merit, to recognise academic excellence in previous studies, English language ability and work or extra-curricular experience. Undergraduate students need to submit an application before the deadline listed below. Postgraduate students will automatically be considered for a scholarship based on the course application.


Undergraduate Regional Excellence Scholarship application deadlines:

  • Application deadline: 14th March 2019

Postgraduate application deadlines to be considered for a Regional Excellence Scholarship:

  • Round One: 18th January 2019
  • Round Two: 26th April 2019
  • Round Three:  21st June 2019

Early applications are encouraged as scholarship funds are limited.
