The University of Salford welcomes students from India and has a wide alumni network across the North and South of the country. To show our commitment and to support our continued work in the region, the University is offering a number of scholarships to support high achieving Indian students.

The University of Salford is a popular choice for students from India and the Salford-India Excellence Scholarships are available to all eligible undergraduate (Bachelors) and postgraduate taught (Masters) programmes.

For 2018/19 and 2019/20 full-time, on-campus, self-funding students who have been assessed as international students for fee purposes and are applying for the first year of study of an undergraduate Bachelors or postgraduate taught Masters programme.

For applicants to undergraduate Bachelors programmes:
* A levels at grades ABB
* Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) = Standard XII at 75% 
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) = Standard XII at 75% 
West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education = Standard XII at 65%
All other Boards: 
For Bachelors in School of Health and Society and School of Health Sciences = Standard XII at 80%
For Bachelors in all other schools = Standard XII at 75%

For applicants to postgraduate taught Masters programmes:  Bachelors degree at 60% or 6.5 Cumulative GPA depending on the marking scheme
