PhD student in the final year of study who has not previously received a grant from the trust.
The Trust awards grants to postgraduate PhD students, whether from overseas or from the UK, to help meet tuition costs, but only in respect of the last year of their course.
Students must be studying at a university in the UK.
The Trust will only provide a one-off grant to postgraduate PhD students therefore if you have received a grant previously you are not eligible to apply again, even if you require funding to help with a different course.
The Trust does not support students undertaking a postgraduate diploma/certificate, or Masters degree (such as an MA, MSc, MBA, LLM, MEd, Mphil, Mres).
