At UCFB we aim to attract the brightest and most passionate students. We are committed to extending the opportunities that a career in the football and sports industry can offer to all members of society, particularly those who may not have otherwise had the encouragement needed to consider studying or working in football and sports related areas.
Academic Excellence Scholarships
UCFB Academic Excellence Scholarships will be awarded in recognition of applicants who have achieved top grades and who can demonstrate outstanding potential to succeed as a UCFB student and alumnus, as assessed by both grades and personal statement. To qualify for the Academic Excellence Scholarship, you must be a student from the UK or EU and be predicted or have achieved a minimum of 128 UCAS points or equivalent grades in other international eligible qualifications (Please note that students on the International Baccalaureate should achieve a minimum of 34 overall). Candidates will need to apply via the application form and successful applicants will be informed at the beginning of September 2018. Each scholarship is an award in the value of a £2,500 fee reduction.
She Kicks Scholarship
Offered in partnership with She Kicks magazine, this scholarship is open to an outstanding female applicant who can demonstrate that a UCFB degree can assist them with their career ambitions. Applicants will be selected based on their academic profile or extra-curricular activities such as community engagement or volunteering. Previous experience in football or sport is not necessary, just a commitment and drive towards working in the world of football and sports business and a belief that a career in football and sport is open to people of all genders and backgrounds.
The She Kicks scholarship will be awarded in a form of an internship at She Kicks magazine or a partner organisation, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered up to a maximum value of £3,000.
