The Lord Blunkett Widening Access Award is offering bursaries to students whose circumstances may otherwise prevent them from completing their legal studies and entering the legal profession.
We offer these awards to all postgraduate students (excluding sponsored students) wishing to undertake our GDL, MA Law, LPC, BPTC or LLMs who can demonstrate strong academic credentials. Up to 20 awards are available. Each award is worth between £1,000 and £3,000.
You will need to have received an offer for one of our postgraduate courses and be from a household with an income of £25,000 or less in accordance with the University's calculation period.
To be eligible for this award, you must obtain a minimum of a Lower Second Class degree (or international equivalent). For more information on the Lord Blunkett award criteria, download the factsheet.
