Additional requirements

The University of Dundee provides up to £3,000 for Alumni Students. If you meet the following criteria, then you will be eligible to receive the scholarship:

Have applied to study a full (180 credit) postgraduate taught course.
Your course starts in September 2023.
Have graduated from the University of Dundee, having previously completed a full undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree.

If you are not a direct graduate of the University of Dundee, but someone in your immediate family is, then you are also eligible for this Scholarship. If you meet the following criteria, then you will be eligible to apply for this scholarship:

Have applied to study a full (180 credit) postgraduate taught course.
Your course starts in September 2023.
Have an immediate family member who has studied at the University of Dundee, having completed a full undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree. Immediate family members include Siblings, Children, Parents and Spouses.

Where eligible, this scholarship can be combined with one of the following scholarships:

Global Excellence or
Global Citizenship or
Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships (one region only)

Only one Alumni award can be awarded, either the direct graduate award or family award.

Further information

If you are returning to study

an Undergraduate course
a Postgraduate taught course which is less than 180 credits
a Distance Learning course
a Postgraduate Research course

then unfortunately you are not eligible.

The value of this scholarship varies depending on your fee status:

For Home and RUK applicants the value of the scholarship is £1,500 GBP, for 1 year only.
For International applicants, the value of the scholarship is £3,000 GBP, for 1 year only.
