SI-UK appoint new UK Operations Director

We are delighted to announce that Charlie Carter will join SI-UK as the Director of our UK operations from December 2022.

Charlie has been at Loughborough University for 18 years, with ten years spent as Director of its highly successful International Office. During his ten-year tenure as Director, he established a close-knit international team with a high-quality imperative, which achieved seven record international student intakes.

Charlie served two terms on the BUILA Executive Committee, where he chaired the China Regional Interest Group and was liaison lead with UCAS and Ecctis (NARIC). Additionally, he Chaired the British Universities Brunei Association for a four-year term. Before arriving at Loughborough, Charlie worked within FT-SE 100 recruitment and consulting organisations.

Well-known within the UK higher education international community, Charlie is keen to take forward an exciting new challenge as UK Director at SI-UK; he intends to utilise his global knowledge and networks to facilitate the highest standard of UK HE interaction and student mobility experience.
