CATS Colleges specialise in teaching international students from the ages of 14 to 18, focusing on university preparation through A-Levels, foundation programmes and the international baccalaureate.
Since its foundation in 1952, CATS have grown into one of the most innovative and successful independent education providers in the UK. Their philosophy is simple: combining exceptionally high-quality teaching with a deep understanding of students and their personal needs. They do this in a welcoming and enriching environment, a home-from-home where students are free to develop their potential both academically and personally.
Students begin with an initial counselling session to help you choose from the options on offer and ensure that your choices will allow you to fulfill your ambitions. Parents receive a 'settling in' report within a students first week of term and further reports throughout your time at CATS College. Students are also tested weekly to ensure that they are making the progress they need, and so that extra tuition can be arranged where necessary.
Attending an SI-UK event allows you to meet UK universities in one location, ask questions directly to university representatives, network with other students, and participate in seminars and workshops hosted by university lecturers.
Attendance at SI-UK events is free for prospective international students.
Preparing for a university visit is essential to maximise your time there. Some things you should do include:
Scholarships provide financial assistance to international students who may not have access to the same resources as domestic students. Tuition fees for international students are higher, and the expense of travelling the world to study at a UK university can offset the financial burden of studying abroad by providing vital financial support.
If you are looking for a scholarship, grant, or bursary to help fund your studies in the UK, the SI-UK team and selected UK universities can assist you with what you are eligible for.
When attending a UK university open day as an international student, you must bring along several supporting documents to ensure you have all the necessary information and materials. We recommend that you bring:
By bringing these documents, you'll be well-prepared to engage with university staff, gather relevant information, and make the most of your UK university open day experience as an international student.

My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
