Cranfield leads research league table in Times Higher Education list

Investing in the UK has become cheaper since Brexit, with businesses constantly working with universities to give them the edge over competitors. It is from these companies that universities receive funding for research, and everything from pharmaceutical giants to manufacturing companies contribute.

And when it comes to industry income per academic, Cranfield University tops the chart.

Cranfield University has relations with around 1500 companies and recently collaborated with AIRC(Aerospace Integration Research Centre). A world class facility worth £35 million opened in the campus and is the result of co-funding by Airbus, Rolls-Royce, and HEFCE (the Higher Education Funding Council for England).
