Scholarships are available for students enrolled on to Journalism courses at the University for the Creative Arts. The Sir Ray Tindle Scholarship awards two students a scholarship worth £3,000 paid at £1,000 for each year of study at the University. The scholarship is given on the basis of academic merit and financial need of deserving students. The last date for applying for the Sir Ray Tindle Scholarship is 4th August 2019.
The University for the Creative Arts is one of the best creative higher education institutes in the UK and was also selected as the Modern University of the Year by the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019. Sir Ray, the founder of Tindle Newspaper Group, headquartered at Surrey, has been a long time supporter of budding journalists at the UCA and offers scholarships each year to help students fund their studies at UCA.
