Scholarships for MBA applicants

Full-time MBA scholarships

We have a number of scholarships for students on our 12 month full-time MBA programmes, providing a financial contribution towards your tuition fees. Assessment will be made via a separate application process only open to offer holders for the Birmingham MBA 12 month full time programmes for 2023/24 entry. 

You must complete our online scholarship application form, a link to which will be emailed to you shortly after you have received an offer from the University of Birmingham for a 12 month full-time MBA programme. Please read the instructions in that email and on the application form carefully before submitting it. If you do not complete the application form using the link in the email, you will not be considered for one of our MBA scholarships.

• Rest of the World MBA Scholarship: Friday 2nd June 2023

• African MBA Scholarship: Friday 3rd March 2023

• Indian MBA Scholarship: Friday 3rd March 2023

UK/Home MBA Scholarship

• Open to Home/UK offer holders for the Birmingham MBA 12 month full-time programmes.

• The UK/Home MBA Scholarship is worth up to 50% of the tuition fees.

• A number of scholarships are available.

Rest of the World MBA Scholarship

• Open to those Birmingham MBA 12 month full-time offer holders not eligible for the UK/Home MBA Scholarship.

• The Rest of the World MBA Scholarship is worth up to 50% of the tuition fees.

• A number of scholarships are available. 

African MBA Scholarship

• The scholarship holder will be in financial need as determined by the University.

• The scholarship holder will be from the continent of Africa.

• The scholarship will be allocated on the basis of intellectual excellence, relevant experience and evidence of a commitment to the economic development of Africa.

• The African MBA Scholarship is a full-fees scholarship (£32,580 for 2023/24 entry), part funded by a private donor with a commitment to Africa and part by the University. 

• Please note this scholarship is only available to one Birmingham MBA 12 month full-time offer holder for 2023/24 entry.

Indian MBA Scholarship

• The scholarship holder will be in financial need as determined by the University.

• The scholarship holder will be from India.

• The scholarship will be allocated on the basis of intellectual excellence, relevant experience and clarity of future plans as determined by the selection committee.

• The Indian MBA Scholarship is a full-fees scholarship (£32,580 for 2023/24 entry).

• Please note this scholarship is only available to one Birmingham MBA 12 month full-time offer holder for 2023/24 entry.
