Undergraduate Foundation Programme (UFP)
  • 1 year (3 terms)
  • You will study English and three academic subjects, and successful students have a guaranteed opportunity for progression* to the University of Hull.
  • Pathways available in Business, Law & Politics and Engineering & Physical Sciences
  • January 2021 the UFP is available with ans Integrated CAS
International Year One (Business and Engineering) (IY1)
  • 1 year (3 terms)
  • Successful students guaranteed progression* to Year 2 of a selected range of Business and Engineering related degrees at the University of Hull
  • Designed for students who do not quite have the academic grades and/or English level to start the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Hull, but have a stronger profile than an UFP student
  • Two pathways available in Business, Management & Accounting and Engineering
  • September 2021 the IY1 is only available with an Integrated CAS
Master’s Foundation Programme (MFP)
  • 1 year (3 terms)
  • Guaranteed opportunity for progression* to a wide range of Business-related Master’s degrees at the University of Hull
  • Improve your English while learning the study skills and research methods that you will need during your Master’s degree studies.

*Guaranteed progression is subject to meeting the specified entry criteria on successful completion of your chosen Foundation programme.

International Year One (Business or Engineering) (IY1) From 5.5 IELTS or equivalent, with no single element less than 5.0, for 3 term IY1. Successful completion of 12 years of schooling with good grades. 17+
Master’s Foundation Programme (MFP) From 4.5 IELTS or equivalent, with no single element less than 4.0, for 3-term MFP. Successful completion of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university. 21+

Extended programmes are available for those who do not have the required level of English.
