We visited the impressive campus of The University of Leeds - a supportive and welcoming global community of over 38,000 students from more than 170 different countries.
The University of Leeds is a world top 100 university (QS World University Rankings 2023) and a founding member of the prestigious Russell Group universities in the UK. It is renowned for quality teaching and research. As it undertakes research to tackle some of the key global challenges, 90% of its research has a quality rating of “world-leading” or "internationally excellent” (REF 2021) .
The University of Leeds students are among the top 5 most targeted by top employers (The Graduate Market in 2022, High Fliers Research), meaning its graduates are highly sought after by some of the most reputable companies in the industry.
The Careers Centre at the University of Leeds is one of the largest in the UK. It provides specialist support and advice to students with finding relevant work experience, advice for job applications, access to events and exclusive job opportunities.
“My experience at Leeds was amazing. Leeds has a great student union with plenty of societies and clubs for students to join, giving everyone the opportunity to meet like - minded individuals. Leeds has a large international student population as well, which is comforting to know there are plenty of other students in a very similar position. The support staff provided by both your parent school and the University makes it accessible for students to get their queries or concerns answered, personal or academic.”
