TU Dublin, formerly, Dublin Institute of Technology, is a premier technological institute in Ireland with a long history of research and innovation. Located in the city centre of the capital city of Ireland, the institute offers courses in varying fields from science and health to business and law, tourism, hospitality and social sciences. TU Dublin offers a variety of sports activities for students as well, including football, basketball and gymnastics.
A wide range of accommodation is available for TU Dublin students. Student residences at Grangegorman include six and three bed housing apartments, family units and private studios. Currently, the institute only provides assistance and information to students seeking accomodation partnering with various accommodation providers all across the city.
Currently all TU Dublin campuses are located in the City Centre of Dublin, one of Europe’s liveliest capital cities. Dublin is a small vibrant city divided into the Northside and Southside by the River Liffey. Dublin Airport is 15 minutes away from the institute’s campus and is accessible by various modes of transport including taxi and bus. However, TU Dublin is a signatory of the Smarter Travel Charter and encourages students to use sustainable means of transport to commute in and around campus such as cycling and walking.
