About the Winning Women in Technology Scholarship

These scholarships are designed to support the brightest minds who are interested in software engineering and the technology industry.

Scholarship value

Each J.P. Morgan Winning Women in Technology scholarship includes £3,000 per year of study for 3 years and a paid industrial placement opportunity in J.P. Morgan's technology department as a Software Engineer.

Eligibility criteria

You must be a first year or a second-year undergraduate students who will undertake their industrial placement year in 2024 in one of the following departments:

• Computer Science

• All courses in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (including Robotics Engineering)

• Mathematical Sciences

• Physics

You must be passionate about coding, keen to develop skills and confidence whilst you study and interested in a career in a technology-driven global company.

Students from other degree programmes are also eligible to apply for a scholarship if they can demonstrate a high enough aptitude for technology, as measured through the selection process. 

The scholarship is aimed at, but not exclusive to, females interested in a career in technology and so is open to non-female applicants also.
