University of York 2022 international scholarships available for application

The University of York has announced a number of new international scholarships available for 2022 applicants.
The University of York is a Russell Group university, ranked 18th in the UK (Guardian University Guide 2022) and Top Ten for graduate earning potential.
International Scholarships
- Be Exceptional scholarships - up to the value of £7,500
Be Exceptional scholarships are awarded to international students to support them to achieve their goals at the University of York, with a number of awards ranging from a £2,500 to £7,500 tuition fee discount.
- Vice-Chancellor's scholarships - Tuition fee discounts worth £20,000 for undergraduate students and £10,000 for Masters students
If you are awarded this scholarship at undergraduate level, you will receive a £10,000 tuition fee discount in your first year, and £5,000 tuition fee discount in your second and third year.
By applying for the Be Exceptional scholarships, applicants will automatically be considered for the Vice-Chancellor's scholarships. Students can apply either in round one or round two and need to have at least a conditional offer from the University of York before they can apply for these scholarships:
Round one
- Applications open Monday 10 January 2022, 00.01am (GMT)
- Applications close Monday 21 March 2022, 11.59pm (GMT)
Round two
- Applications open Monday 18 April 2022, 00.01am (BST)
- Applications close Monday 20 June 2022, 11.59pm (BST)
Five British Council GREAT Scholarships (worth £10,000 each) for top Masters candidates from Ghana (Law degrees only), Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Turkey in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign.
Applications open in January 2022.
