Aston University wins Careers and Placement award

Aston University has won the Careers and Placement award at the National Undergraduate Employability Awards.

This award celebrates the university careers and employability service which helps students apply and maximise their work experience opportunities. Aston's University Careers and Placements service created a new interactive timetabled placement workshops for all second year students and tailored this to each school.

This reached 5,000 students across 130 sessions, which tripled the engagement from the previous year. They supported 7,000 one-to-one appointments with students, which was a 32% increase year-on-year. They also engaged 10,000+ students in employability.
