Coventry University to open new nursing school in London

Coventry University has announced plans to open a new nursing school in London, aiming to help address staff shortages in the NHS.

A range of nursing and health apprenticeships, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate adult nursing degrees, will be available, including:

  • Foundation Degree Nursing Associate Apprenticeship
  • Foundation Degree Nursing Associate Direct Entry
  • MSc Occupational Therapy Apprenticeship
  • BSc Occupational Therapy Apprenticeship
  • BSc Physiotherapy Apprenticeship
  • BSc Public Health Practitioner Apprenticeships
  • Blended online BSc/MSc Adult Nursing (Clinical skills taught face-to-face)

Lisa Bayliss-Pratt, Pro-Vice Chancellor for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Coventry University, said: "This exciting project will benefit the NHS and the Lambeth area. The demand for our courses is created by local employers who are investing in training the workforce they need to deliver services for the community."
