Guardian newspaper announce University Awards winners

22 March 2016

The 2016 Guardian University Awards took place in London this month, with 14 different higher education institutions taking home the prizes.

Now in their fourth year, the awards recognise excellence in UK universities and higher education. Some of the big winners included the University of Essex for student experience, Buckinghamshire New University for teaching excellence and University of Glasgow for international projects.

Judy Friedberg, Guardian universities editor, said: “University professionals around the UK have been collaborating and innovating to change lives on their own campuses, in their regions, and around the world. We’re delighted to be able to recognise their vision and their hard work.”
