Data released by UCAS had indicated that international student interest in UK university study has continued to grow over the last year.
China and India continue to drive applications, with a record number of students applying for 2022 entry. Chinese applications grew by 12% this year for a total of 28,930, whilst Indian applications were up 11% on 2021. More generally, undergraduate applications for 2022 are on pace to match or exceed volumes from last year.
UCAS Chief Executive Clare Marchant said: “Whilst applications have been very resilient throughout the pandemic, the robust demand from China, India, and Hong Kong, as well as demand from a number of new and emerging global regions, shows the enduring appeal of our world-class universities.”

My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
