London tops QS Best Student Cities 2023 ranking

London has been named the world's best student city by QS in the 2023 Best Student Cities Ranking.
It is the fourth year in a row London has finished top of the ranking, seeing off competition from Munich, Seoul and Zurich. Edinburgh, a popular study destination in Scotland, finished 10th overall.
Key highlights included huge scores in the areas of diversity of its student mix, students’ feedback on their overall experience in London and the number of world-class universities in the city.
The QS Best Student Cities Ranking 2023 combines data about a range of factors important to international students, including rankings, employer activity and student mix. Ben Sowter, QS’s director of research, said: “Responses to our surveys from students that have studied in London make it clear that it offers outstanding cultural, economic, and educational opportunities. With two of the world’s ten best universities situated in the city, it remains a world-leading educational hub."
