Oxford and Cambridge lead UK way in global rankings

Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s annual Academic Ranking of World Universities was released this month, with the Oxbridge pair of Oxford and Cambridge both leading the UK way.

University of Cambridge continued their success at the summit of the table, with a spokesperson saying: “This reflects the fact that we are among the most respected and influential higher education institutions in the world, with a portfolio of world-leading research.”

The one major change to the top ten was the entrance of the University of Warwick, who rose 96 places to place 92^nd in the world and feature in the top ten overall.

The top-ten universities in the UK for academic excellence:
