2021 QS World University Rankings by Subject revealed

QS have revealed their 2021 World University Rankings by Subject, with UK universities once again performing well in the highly respected league tables.

The 2021 edition covers 51 subject areas and includes 1,456 institutions from 86 countries. Universities in the UK account for 1st place in 13 different subjects, with the University of Oxford being named the best in the world for the study of anatomy and physiology, English language and literature, geography, modern languages, and pharmacy and pharmacology. Oxbridge rival the University of Cambridge attained top spots for anthropology and archaeology.

The QS Subject Rankings score universities around the world on their reputation with academics and employers, as well as research impact. The rankings use data from 1,453 institutions and nearly 14 million unique papers.
