SI-UK opens new office in Accra, Ghana

SI-UK is delighted to announce the opening of its new Ghana office in the capital city of Accra.
Located in the centre of the city with direct access to all modes of transport which makes this a convenient location for both client universities and students to visit, Accra is the largest and busiest of all Ghanaian cities.
Student inflow from Ghana to the UK has expanded significantly since 2000, and the number of Ghanaian students is now almost twice as high as in 1999 and more than 25,000 Ghanaian students apply for UK visas from Ghana every year, of which 40% are for study purposes. In February 2021, nearly 1,500 visitor, student and work visas to the UK were processed.
