University of Exeter wins International prize

07 April 2017

The University of Exeter has won the International award at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2017.

Currently ranked ninth in the Times University Guide, all students are offered foreign language tuition at Exeter, either as part of their chosen degree or as a separate evening class. International graduate prospects are further improved by a focus on career management skills and the possibility of work placements and internships as part of their degree programme.

Speaking to the PIE News, Nikki Padget, head of international student recruitment at Exeter, said: “It’s really important that we listen to their views. I think it’s quite easy to make lip service to that, but the fact that students are endorsing what we do is really important.”

The Whatuni Student Choice Awards are an annual celebration of student satisfaction in higher education, and the 26,000 reviews received represent the most comprehensive student voice in the country.
