Routes to UK Legal Practice with the University of Law
Representative: Peter Goodchild, Stephen Carleton & Raj Allam
The seminar will cover an introduction to The University of Law Business School and provide information on our Masters programmes that are designed to impart commercial skills and understanding that employers are looking for. This will be followed by a Q&A session.
The session will be led by Peter Goodchild who is an Associate Professor, and Programme & Student Lead for the GDL and MA Law at ULaw's Bloomsbury campus.
He studied PPE at St. Anne’s Oxford, before converting to law at ULaw. He trained at Slaughter & May, and practised in Tech and IP Law. Peter returned to ULaw in 2000 as a tutor and now teaches on the GDL, MA Law, LLB and LPC. Peter is also the co-author of Legal Systems & Skills (OUP).
My counsellor contacted me every day throughout the application process and helped me receive an unconditional offer. I am so grateful to SI-UK and will never forget them. I will study very hard as I feel this is the best reward I can give the whole team.
