These prestigious and limited scholarships, awards of which range from 50% up to your full MSc tuition fee value, will be awarded to candidates who exhibit the highest standards of academic excellence, and who are passionate about Responsible Business. At Birmingham Business School, our vision is to promote curiosity and thought leadership for Responsible Business. As part of your scholarship application, you will be required to complete a written exercise on Responsible Business which will be reviewed alongside your course application. 

Terms and Conditions

  • Scholarships are awarded as a fee discount on the overall total fee for the programme. The value of the scholarships will be determined by the Business School Scholarship Committee.

  • We aim to contact successful candidates as soon as possible after they have applied. If you have not been contacted by the decisions returned date that corresponds with the date by which you submitted your application (listed above)then your scholarship application has been unsuccessful.

  • The Student shall not be eligible for any further discount to the tuition fees through any other University scheme (excluding the Birmingham Postgraduate Progression Award provided that the total value of the combined awards does not exceed the Student’s total tuition fees for the Programme).  

  • The Student shall not be eligible for any part of the Scholarship if they are entitled to a scholarship, sponsorship or other similar financial assistance (other than the Scholarship) (“External Funding”) covering the full tuition fees.  

  • In the event that the Student is entitled to External Funding that does not cover the entire tuition fees for the Programme, the University may, at its discretion, award a Scholarship to cover the balance of the tuition fees for the Programme provided that the total value of the combined awards does not exceed the Student’s total tuition fees. 

  • In the event the Programme is withdrawn and the Student agrees to accept a different programme within the Scheme offered by the School, the Student shall benefit from a scholarship for that alternative programme up to the value of the Scholarship offered for the Programme.  For the avoidance of doubt, if the Programme is withdrawn and the Student does not accept the alternative programme offered within the Scheme, the Scholarship shall be withdrawn.
