We are delighted to be able to offer scholarships for a range of courses starting in 2021 to students from India.

Scholarships are for undergraduate and taught postgraduate courses in Engineering, taught postgraduate courses in Law, taught postgraduate courses in Data Science and taught postgraduate courses in Biosciences. The value of the scholarship will be £4,000.

Eligibility

Scholarships will be awarded to all international fee-paying applicants, domiciled in India and intending to start on the following degree programmes in October 2021:

  • Engineering (undergraduate and taught postgraduate)
  • Law (taught postgraduate)
  • Data Science (taught postgraduate)
  • Biosciences (taught postgraduate)

Detail

The scholarship is in the form of a tuition fee scholarship. In the case of Undergraduate Engineering, this scholarship applies to each year of study. The scholarship will only apply to students starting their degree programme in October 2021 and will not apply to those applicants who defer entry to 2022.

Terms and Conditions

To be considered for the Vice-Chancellor’s India Scholarship 2021/22 you must:

  • Be available to take up your programme place in the 2021/22 academic year

  • Be willing to participate and cooperate in public marketing activities which the University may organise for the scholarship winners

  • Be willing to participate and cooperate in internal marketing activities which the University may organise such as Open Events and student testimonials

  • Be completely self-funding in order to be eligible for a scholarship. Failure to disclose that your fees are paid by an employer, private provider or government body, invalidates this offer.
