Established in 2009, the Lawrence Ho Scholarship and Research Fund currently provides scholarships support for students from China and Hong Kong who wish to study at Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland.

Scholarship Overview

The Lawrence Ho Scholarship is available to postgraduate students from Hong Kong or China starting a course at Edinburgh Napier University from September  2021. The scholarships are merit-based ranging from £1,500 to £3,000 and is tenable for one academic year.

Eligibility Guidance 

To be eligible for the Lawrence Ho Scholarship, you must be from Hong Kong or China and have a firm offer (conditional or unconditional) from Edinburgh Napier University to study on a postgraduate course from September 2021. The value of the scholarship will be based on the following undergraduate degree levels:

  • £1500, for applicants with a 2.2 UK honour degree, lower-second class Hong Kong honour degree or 75% from a Chinese Benke degree.
  • £3000, for applicants with a 2.1 or first class UK honour degree, upper-second class or higher Hong Kong honour degree, or 80%+ from a Chinese Benke degree.
