We are delighted to offer the Northumbria Global Scholarship, awarding International students a £3,000 fee discount in the first year of their three-year undergraduate course. Students will receive a further £1,500 fee discount for every subsequent year of study.

Students joining us in the second year of an undergraduate course will receive a £1,500 discount in year two and in year three - this includes students who join in the second year from the International Year One programme.

Students joining in the third year of an undergraduate course will receive a £1,500 discount.

Terms and conditions

To be eligible for the Northumbria Global Scholarship, you must:

  • be an International student with ‘overseas’ fee status
  • be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)
  • be accepted and enrolled on a full-time taught course, either undergraduate or postgraduate, at the Newcastle upon Tyne campus, in September 2019 or January 2020
  • meet all individual course requirements
