Scholarships at Writtle University College
|Marshal Papworth Scholarship|
|Scholarship Name||Marshal Papworth Scholarship|
The Marshal Papworth Scholarships are designed to support postgraduate students from developing countries studying land based courses such as Horticulture, Conservation and Agriculture; they are made possible by the generosity of the late Marshal Papworth, an English farmer and member of the East of England Agricultural Society.
A list of qualifying countries can be found at marshalpapworth.com International students from developing countries who have been offered admission to a taught Masters course at Writtle University College may apply for a Marshal Papworth Scholarship.
Students must hold an unconditional offer from the College. This is a prerequisite for the scholarship application. The closing date for applications is early spring, so students are encouraged to make their applications for the Masters course in autumn/winter.
Applications for Marshal Papworth Scholarships are not made directly to the trust, but via the University College Postgraduate Coordinator (Dr Anya Perera).
Please note, the deadline for Marshall Papworth applications is 14th February 2020. Applications made after this date will not be considered for a course start date of September 2020.
