Scholarships at Oxford Brookes University

Starting your degree in September 2022 or January 2023? You could qualify for one of our new £2,000 international student scholarships.

We know that moving to a new country can be a challenge, and we believe that early preparation is an important factor in student success. In order to encourage our students to be well prepared for their new life in the UK, we are offering a £2,000 scholarship to support students who make their deposit payment by a relevant deadline, see below for more information.

In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must:

✔ Hold a conditional or unconditional offer from the University.

✔ Pay your deposit by:

• 15 April 2022 for postgraduate applicants.

• 9 June 2022 for undergraduate applicants.

• The deadline for January 2023 is still to be confirmed.

✔ Enrol in September 2022 or January 2023 as a new full-time undergraduate or postgraduate international fee-paying student.

We are therefore delighted to announce that we will be offering scholarships of £4,000 to all EU students who wish to join our degree programmes in the academic year 2022/23. If you meet the criteria, this scholarship will be applied automatically as a discount to your tuition fees across all years of study.

In order to qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Applicants must:

   • have an offer from the University to begin a degree programme in the academic year 2022/23 and to have firmly accepted that offer

   • be a passport holder of an EU country / have EU nationality

   • be an international fee-paying student

   • be studying a full time 3 or 4 year undergraduate degree (including Foundation programme, year 2 or year 3 entry), a full 1 or 2 year postgraduate degree (including a Pre-master programme) or a 3 year postgraduate research degree primarily delivered at an Oxford Brookes campus.

2. The scholarship will only be available to students commencing a degree in the academic year 2022/23. This includes the following entry points:

   • September 2022

   • January 2023

3. Students are not able to claim this scholarship in conjunction with any other funding offered by Oxford Brookes University.

4. Unfortunately this scholarship does not apply to students who qualify to pay Home (UK) fees.

5. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount.

6. This scholarship does not apply to placement years.

7. This scholarship is not available to ACP students.

8. This scholarship is not available to students where the Home and Overseas fee are the same level.

9. This scholarship is not available to distance learning students.
