Overview
Dollar Academy is one of Scotland's best schools, providing boarding and day education for boys and girls aged 5-18. It has a proud heritage and an outstanding academic reputation. Pupils here often win places at Oxford, Cambridge and LSE and popular university subject choices are medicine, dentistry and law.

There are over 70 extracurricular clubs on offer. Dollar Academy is located between Edinburgh and St Andrews on a beautiful 70-acre campus in the center of a picturesque Scottish town, edged on the one side by a golf course and with breathtaking views of Scottish scenery. The boarding facilities are of the highest standard, spacious and well equipped.
Entry Requirements
The usual admissions process is that parents initially telephone or email the school for a visit. If they decide to apply for a place, they complete the application form (available on the school website) and forward the registration fee, before entering their children for the relevant assessments. Subject to satisfactory performance in the relevant assessments, a place is offered.
