Scholarships at Glasgow Caledonian University

International and EU students who study a full-time course with Glasgow Caledonian University from academic year 2023-2024 are eligible for up to £4,000 discount.

What is the discount?

Taught Postgraduate International and EU students will receive the following discount from their tuition fees from September 2023.

• £2,000 year 1
• £1,000 year 2

Postgraduate International and EU Research students receive £2,000 towards their first annual fees and £1,000 for each subsequent year of their degree. Up to £4,000 over 3 years.

• £2,000 year 1
• £1,000 year 2
• £1,000 year 3

Who can apply?

The fee discounts are applicable to self-funded international and EU research students only.

Terms and conditions

Distance Learning or Part time courses are not eligible for this discount.

Applicants will be considered once you have applied for a place on the MSc Social Innovation full-time course and received an offer from GCU to study the programme.

Terms and conditions

The award is non-transferable to any other programme if you change your course to the one specified at the time of application.

Awards cannot be deferred to another academic session and are for the full-time programme only.

The awards offered are a discount of £4,000 automatically deducted from your tuition fees.

Terms and conditions

International students who progress to further full-time study with Glasgow Caledonian University are eligible for up to £5,000 off their course tuition fees.

• Undergraduate students receive £2,000 towards their first annual fees and £1,000 for each subsequent year of their full-time degree. Up to £5,000 over four years.
• Postgraduate students receive £2,000 towards the first year of their annual tuition fees and £1,000 for any subsequent year of full-time study.

Who can apply

The fee discounts are applicable to self-funded full time international students only.

Undergraduate self-funded international students must have successfully completed:

• a GCU Summer School.
• or an exchange programme at GCU.

Postgraduate self-funded international students must have successfully completed:

• an undergraduate degree from GCU (must have graduated).
• or a GCU Summer School.
• or an exchange programme at GCU.

Terms and conditions

• CPD and short courses are not eligible for this discount.
• Where a student is eligible for both a Loyalty Fee Discount and another Scholarship, the highest discount applies.
• Discounts cannot be backdated.
• Students who are sponsored by employers/governments are not eligible for this award.
