This prestigious £5,000 award recognises academic excellence and is awarded to selected students starting a masters degree in February 2025.
About
The scholarship is awarded as a £5,000 fee waiver. It is open to self-funded international fee paying students regardless of nationality or domicile. The scheme is application based and awards are decided by a scholarship awards panel.
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible applicants must:
Be an overseas fee-paying student
Hold an offer to study a full time masters programme (excludes part-time, distance-learning courses and the MBA)
Be self-funded (you must be paying for your studies independently rather than being sponsored or in receipt of another scholarship)
Not be from the Surrey International Study Centre (SISC).
Applicants in receipt of the International Excellence Award will not be eligible for the alumni discount as the value of this award is higher.

Scholarships can cover between 10 – 50% of the total tuition fee and will be awarded on a rolling basis. Candidates who apply early in the admissions round may therefore have a greater chance of receiving an award.
Application deadlines:
16 September 2024 - Full-time MBA
1 November 2024 - Executive MBA.
Eligibility criteria

You must hold a lower second-class degree or equivalent, alternatives may be considered, see entry criteria for more information
You must be a UK, EU or International student
You must be studying full or part time
You must be self-funded, or receiving a partial sponsorship or loan
You must be studying full or part time
EU and International students must comply with the English language requirements (IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall grade with 6.0 in each element or equivalent)
Our Women in Leadership scholarship is open to female candidates who can demonstrate their contribution to business and a drive to support other female candidates in the future. The scholarship is open to candidates joining either the Full-time or Executive MBA course.
