UK travel rules eased for EU arrivals

04 August 2021

Adults from the EU no longer need to quarantine on arrival into the UK, provided they are fully vaccinated.

The eased travel restrictions apply to the following:

  • All EU member states except for France
  • The four European Free Trade Association countries - Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland – and the European microstates of Andorra, Monaco and Vatican City

Travellers into the UK will still need to take either a lateral flow or PCR test pre-departure, and a PCR test on the second day after they arrive. Children under 18 at the time of their arrival who are ordinarily resident in one of the above-mentioned countries (except for France) will also be exempt from quarantine requirements.

Are you travelling to study in the UK soon and have questions about what you need to before leaving and upon arrival? Arrange a free consultation with SI-UK London today and we can help answer all of your questions and concerns.

Breckett Front  My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.  Breckett Front
