Scholarships at Cambridge Judge Business School

We value and reward excellence and a commitment to lifelong learning. The Cambridge Executive Edge Bursary is available to individuals who have successfully completed an Executive Education Open programme from 2018 onwards and wish to further their studies at Cambridge Judge Business School.

Applicants to the Cambridge Executive MBA, the Global Executive MBA, or the Executive Master of Accounting programmes are eligible for up to £10,000 towards the amount paid for their Executive Education course, provided they meet the programme’s eligibility criteria. The £150 application fee will also be waived for successful bursary applicants.

To be eligible for the Cambridge Executive Edge Bursary you must have successfully completed an Executive Education Open programme at Cambridge Judge from 2018 onwards and wish to further their studies with us.

All candidates who receive an offer to join the Cambridge MBA are considered for a Cambridge MBA Distinction Award.

These awards are granted at the discretion of the Admissions Committee and recognise individuals who have demonstrated exceptional academic ability, strong professional achievement, and clear leadership potential.

The Cambridge MBA Scholarship for Professional Impact recognises those who have gone beyond individual success to drive innovation, influence policy or practice, and elevate their professional communities. Whether through leadership, entrepreneurship, or industry expertise, these candidates have shown the ability to shape outcomes and inspire progress within their field.

We are looking for applicants who bring a strong track record of achievement and ambition, and who are ready to build on this momentum through the Cambridge MBA, developing into globally minded leaders equipped to make a broader impact on business and society.

Are you eligible?

For candidates who have demonstrated exceptional professional impact – individuals who have accelerated in their careers, led meaningful change, and contributed significantly to their sector or industry.

This scholarship is for professionals working within a technology firm or in a role focused on technology, as an engineer/developer or within a corporate role. You may have been a strong advocate for the sector or been in a project leadership position for a technological innovation.

Three awards of up to £30,000 each will be made towards the cost of the Cambridge MBA tuition fees.

Eligibility criteria

Factors we will consider in awarding the scholarship will be your career to date and professional contributions within a technology firm or a role focused on technology.

A small number of Executive MBA bursaries are awarded at the end of each application round. These are offered based on individual circumstances and the strength of your application.

Eligibility criteria

This scholarship is open to all applicants who could not afford the programme otherwise.

All successful EMBA applicants can apply for the EMBA Director’s Scholarship, including those awarded a needs-based bursary.

This scholarship is awarded at the discretion of the Programme Director. This happens after the needs-based bursaries have been awarded, in the interests of fairness.

This scholarship is open to all applicants.

The Executive MBA Scholarship for Entrepreneurs is for candidates who have founded their own company or have been part of the founding team on a new venture. This venture should be your current, primary employment. 

Eligibility criteria

You will have founded your own company or have been part of the founding team on a new venture. The scholarship is awarded based on the candidate’s application, scholarship submission, and strength of their professional background. 

This scholarship is for those candidates who are working in sectors which we feel are currently underrepresented within the diverse Executive MBA cohort each year and across the business school community more widely – this list currently includes the arts, culture and media sectors, social enterprise, NGOs and non-profit sectors, as well as those working as medical practitioners. 

Eligibility criteria 

You must be working in one of the following sectors while in your current role, in order to be considered for this scholarship award.

• Arts, entertainment, and media.

• Healthcare: doctors, nurses, surgeons-biotech (Pharma and R&D are not eligible).

• Social enterprise.

• Public sector.

• NGO and non-profit.

The scholarship is awarded based on the candidate’s application, scholarship submission, and strength of their professional background. 

The scholarship is awarded to outstanding female candidates each year. Successful candidates act as ambassadors for the Executive MBA, making a positive contribution to the class and playing an active role in women’s leadership at the Business School.
