We have a limited number of scholarships for self-funding students from South Asia starting a course at Edinburgh Napier in September 2023 and January 2024. The scholarship is tenable for one academic year.
For applications with deposit of £5000 paid before the 15th of June, applicants will be eligible for an Early Bird scholarship of £2,000. Applications with deposits submitted after this date will be eligible for a scholarship worth £1,000.

holding an offer to study a bachelor or one year masters course in September 2023 or January 2024
For bachelor courses, you must also achieve the following academic requirements:
60% or above in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for top up student
For masters courses, you must also achieve the following academic requirements in your most recent masters or bachelors course:
bachelor degree with 60% or above

Please note that scholarships are only eligible for the intake of your initial offer. Awarded scholarships are not transferable and cannot be deferred to a later start date. Once you have paid your deposit, you are unable to carry the scholarship forward to a future intake.
The Harilela Scholarship supports students from Hong Kong and China who wish to study a postgraduate course at Edinburgh Napier University but face financial barriers to doing so. Successful applicants will be awarded £2,500 towards the cost of their fees, paid directly to the University’s fees office.
Eligibility Guidance
To be eligible to apply for the Harilela Scholarship you must be from Hong Kong or China and have a firm postgraduate offer (conditional or unconditional) from Edinburgh Napier University. You have made your deposit payment towards your fees, and satisfy the below criteria:
Achieved a minimum of a 2:1 from a UK honours degree
OR an upper-second class degree in a Hong Kong honour degree
Students who are from a Mexico and who are self-funding their course are eligible for a £4,000 scholarship for entry onto a full-time programme in September 2023 or January 2024.

Students who are from a Colombia and who are self-funding their course are eligible for a £4,000 scholarship for entry onto a full-time programme in September 2023 or January 2024.

be holding an unconditional offer to study a masters course in September 2023 or January 2024
have made your £5000 deposit payment toward your fees

The scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, and are worth £2,000 (GBP). The scholarship is tenable for one academic year.

For bachelor courses, you must also achieve the following academic requirements:

For masters courses, you must also achieve the following academic requirements in your most recent masters or bachelors course:
Masters or Bachelor degree at 60% or GPA 2.4/4.0 or above
If you have discounted tuition fees from a partner university or are in receipt of another scholarship, you are not eligible for this scholarship.

Self-funding students from Turkey are eligible for a £4,000 scholarship for entry onto a full-time post graduate programme in September 2023 or January 2024.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this award, you must be:
domiciled in Turkey at the time of application
self-funding your course
meet the entry criteria for your chosen Masters course in September 2023 or January 2024
You are not eligible if:
you are applying for a course lasting longer than 12 months
Students who are from any of the below eligible countries and who are self-funding their course are eligible for a merit-based Undergraduate or Postgraduate Scholarship of £2,000 (GBP) for entry onto a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme in September 2023 or January 2024.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for this award, you must be:
domiciled in one of the following countries; Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei and Philippines
be self-funding your course
holding an offer to study a full-time bachelors or masters course in September 2023 or January 2024
Please note, you are not eligible for this scholarship if you are studying a two-year Masters course
Students receiving discounted tuition fees from partner universities or those who are sponsored, are not eligible for this scholarship.
