Thanks to the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal, there are a limited number of postgraduate scholarships available at Heriot-Watt University. The scholarship is open to those who qualify to pay Home fees, and can cover up to £7552 tuition fees. Some scholarship funding is reserved for people who meet characteristics of those underrepresented in built environment disciplines, especially those identifying as: women, BAME, with caring responsibilities, armed forces veteran, refugee, displaced or with a disability. You must live in Edinburgh, Fife, East Lothian, West Lothian, Midlothian or the Scottish Borders.   

The scholarship is available for eligible offer-holders of the following programmes:

  • MSc Construction Project Management
  • MSc Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying
  • MSc Civil Engineering and Construction Management
  • MSc Real Estate
  • MSc Spatial Planning and Real Estate Development
