The Business School is pleased to offer scholarship for international students applying to the undergraduate BBA Honours Business Administration course. A number of 25% fee reduction per year awards are on offer (three years in total) and the award will be deducted from your tuition fees.
The BBA Honours course offers general business study over 3 years and the opportunity to specialise in the following business disciplines: Business Analysis and Technology; Business Enterprise; Economics; Human Resource Management; Hospitality and Tourism Management; and Marketing.

The University of Strathclyde has launched a new programme - MSc Sustainability - which aims to produce graduates who will go on to become global leaders in the sustainability world.
Strathclyde’s new programme draws on the sustainability expertise from all four faculties – Business, Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Science - in the University and offers a unique opportunity to work in interdisciplinary groups with people from all over the world. Students can choose a specialism to focus in on a specific learning interest, ensuring the programme caters to an individual’s needs and career pathways.
To celebrate the launch of this new programme, we are delighted to offer up to 4 scholarships of £2000 to students who hold an offer of a place on our MSc Sustainability programme September 2024 intake.
Eligibility
Candidates must be self-funded (ie. not in receipt of funding from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship, ets.) and already hold an offer of a place on our MSc Sustainability. All candidates holding an offer of a place will be automatically considered, therefore no separate scholarship application is required.
We are delighted to announce our EU Engagement Scholarships to support full-time undergraduate students commencing taught courses in 2024. The scholarships will be available to those EU applicants who would have previously been eligible for Home (Scottish/EU) fee status but, because of Brexit, will now be classified as being eligible for International fee status
Our undergraduate scholarships will be awarded for each year of study for students who meet our eligibility criteria.

Your application for study will be checked for eligibility when you apply, therefore you do not need to make a separate application for this scholarship.
The scholarships will be automatically applied to:
EU nationals and their dependant family members who are self-funding and:
are resident in the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the UK at the time of application; and
are classed as international for tuition fee purposes; and
are entering a full time degree undergraduate or postgraduate taught Masters programmes in 2024.
This scholarship does not apply to students classified as Home or RUK for tuition fee purposes.

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid January 2024 onwards and the final date for consideration will be 31st July 2024, so early application is advised.
The Scholarships of between £9,000 and £17,000 will be awarded to candidates who demonstrate in their Scholarship application, MBA programme application and interview, excellent academic performance; significant professional/managerial/leadership experience and career development and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.
Eligibility
MBA Scholarship and programme applications are invited from exceptional candidates who are prepared to act as ambassadors for the Strathclyde FT MBA. Who can demonstrate through their ideas outlined in their application and interview how they would contribute to bring the class together through teamwork to create community, from the outset, in order to achieve the ultimate learning (and social) experience for the group as a whole.
Leadership/management skills or potential, overall quality of the application and financial need will also be considered.
Important things to note
To be considered for a scholarship an applicant must hold an offer to study a full-time attendance course in the 2024/25 academic year.
Scholarships are only open for self-funded fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time course. Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible to apply.
Online and blended learning programmes are not eligible for these scholarships.
Scholarships are competitive and will be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards may be allocated early in the applications cycle.
Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
To receive their scholarship, awardees must enrol in the 2024/2025 academic year and continue to meet all of the above eligibility criteria.
Scholarship recipients will be expected to engage with student ambassador activities during their course of study, such as supporting student recruitment activities and events.

The Scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in both their Scholarship Application and their Masters programme application, excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.
Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid January 2024 onwards and the final deadline for consideration of applications will be 31st July 2024. Please do not submit duplicate applications as all forms and statements submitted will remain under consideration.

Candidates interested in applying should provide a maximum 1000 word statement demonstrating, through their ideas, experience and future career plans (including their reasoning for joining their chosen programme and why they should be awarded this scholarship.
Scholarship awardees will also be expected to engage with a variety of activities during their course of study, including:
Monitoring and contributing to future applicant forums and responding with information regarding the relevant course.
Taking an active role in either the social committee or class rep committee.
Volunteering as an admissions contact for prospective students.
Assisting the school in the development and management of events.
Retaining alumni communication post MSc completion.
